On Saturday 11th November, New Rosemere are performing at Horwich Parish Church, Bolton in a Remembrance Day concert. To honour the occasion, you’ll be singing along to wartime classics such as ‘Pack up your troubles’, ‘It’s a long way to Tipperary’, ‘White Cliffs of Dover’ and ‘We’ll meet again’.
In true New Rosemere style, we will also be exploring the magic of the musicals. We’ll treat you to a sample of the Gilbert and Sullivan numbers we’re famous for (including Pirates of Penzance, Mikado and The Gondoliers), as well as music from a variety of popular musicals, such as Mamma Mia, The Sound of Music, Wicked, Oklahoma, Spamalot, My Fair Lady, Jekyll and Hyde, The Music Man and South Pacific.
Following our latest success at Whalley Village Hall, audience members were delighted with the variety of music and high standard of performance. In one lady’s own words, we will have you “laughing, crying and singing” throughout the evening!
It will truly be a night to remember, with something for everyone. We would love to see you there.
Tickets are £8 per person, which includes a glass of wine. You can book through the church by calling Susan on 01204 693722, or with New Rosemere by calling Dave at 01257 263053.
